Empusae is a solo-project (conducted by Sal-Ocin) that started back in 1995. This music can be described as dark industrial soundscapes. It is a symbiose between industrial rythmics, melancholic melodies and dark ambiances... The result is a soundtrack for listeners of macabre fantasies !

Ocin also appears as guest live musician with such famous acts like This Morn' Omina and Ah Cama-Sotz. This last 2 years, Empusae has played a lot of gigs ("Armageddon Night #10", "Maschinenfest 2003"…) mainly as an opening act for such bands as Sonar, Mono No Aware, WinterKälte, This Morn' Omina, Synapscape, Ah Cama-Sotz, H.I.V +, Millimetric and Mimetic.
