DC 022 - "A Tribute to Jean-Marc Dauvergne" (CD + Book)
2003 (1000 copies)

DC 022

If a painter should symbolise Industrial music, then it would be definitely the french artist Jean-Marc Dauvergne... Back in the 80's, listening to industrial music, he began to give shape to his visions, becoming a legendary figure.

He did artworks for Athanor, Cynfeirdd, and Divine Comedy who finally decided to do a musical tribute to his art. Here, we're not talking about the usual "various artists" concept... Every artist has created something special directly inspired by a painting. The result comes in a wonderful 48 pages book (full offset/21x21) and CD with novels and selected tracks....

Music ?... Ah Cama-Sotz, A Challenge of Honour, Empusae, Fin de Siècle, Gaë Bolg & the Church of Fand, H.I.V+/Flint Glass, Kulfi, Land, Othila, Reutoff, Semper Eadem, This Morn Omina, Westwind, Wilt.
